SUPER MARIO FINGERS by Hok
2 weeks ago I partially tore my achilles and paroneal tendon during training. I was so shocked and gutted that I could not dance like I usually do, however I thought that I needed to change this negativity into a positive one. although things may be limited at times, let’s try to figure out with the resources that we currently have.

２週間程前にトレーニング中に右足のアキレス腱を部分的に損傷してしまいました。はじめはいつも通り踊ることが出来ない現実にものすごく腹を立たせていましたが、どうにかこの現状をプラスのものに変えなかえれば、と思いこの作品を作りました。我々生きていく上で『これがあれば、あれがあれば』というのが沢山あると思いますが、ここでひとつ自分と向き合って、今ある中で何が創れるかと自問自答してみてはいかがでしょうか。
結論：マリオ＋指を使った踊り＝楽しい☆

new video “TRON FINGERS”
A little video I shot when I was over in Boracay, Philippines last week:) I know the finger stuff itself doesn’t directly have anything to do with the movie TRON, but the colours and the feel i got after shooting it was very similar. A big shout out to the street performers in Boracay that agreed to be amazing back ground-statue-type-people!! also a big shout out to Anis acting as the main bad guy in the actual movie!
